Erika Hargis, MA
Desire to be part of meaningful change is what brought Erika to Community Solutions. “Working here gives me an opportunity to help individuals and organizations adapt to changing realities and discover new ways to be of service.”
Erika holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and in Criminal Justice from the University of Indianapolis, where she spent her entire college career on the Dean’s List and graduated summa cum laude. As an undergraduate, she served as Vice President and Treasurer for Alpha Phi Sigma, the national Criminal Justice Honors Society. Erika is also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
While working at Community Solutions, Erika completed her Master’s degree in Applied Sociology at the University of Indianapolis. Applied Sociology, Erika says, “moves beyond examining what we’re doing in certain fields to focus on why we’re doing what we’re doing. And you can’t really improve a system until you understand the why behind it.”
Erika provides project management, evaluation, and technical assistance for Community Solutions’ clients.
