Lauren Hansen joined Community Solutions as a Communications Associate in 2022. Her goal for the position is to highlight the human perspective on issues in the work she does at CSI through storytelling, content creation, and visual representation. Lauren believes in the connectedness and shared responsibility that we have as Indianapolis community members to treat strangers like neighbors, neighbors like friends, and friends like family.
After graduating, Lauren went on to work in sales and marketing for Livenation Concerts until the COVID-19 large event shutdowns of 2020. Since then, you may have seen her working at HiFi, The Vogue, or your local coffeeshop until finding her home in the nonprofit world.
Lauren got her bachelor’s degree in journalism at Ball State University and spent her time in college working for various nonprofits such as Little Red Door of East Central Indiana in Muncie, The Facing Project: Facing Cancer in East Central Indiana, and Cornerstone Center for the Arts as a web designer, content creator and editor, and public relations specialist. At Ball State, she was a Louis E Ingelhart Scholar for Leadership in the Media.
